So we're back from states now.
It was incredible.
We ranked 13 out 13 2A bands in the states. But i still think we did a damn good job, because we went to damn states, and there judging was WAYYY harder.
Percussion got 8 out of 13 out bands. Our scored stayed the same, which is great, because got judged WAY harder than at a normal level. SO good job percussion.
Stupid thing is we didn't get to warm up.
Our bus driver got us there late because he needed coffee, so when we got there we were already supposed to go on.
All we did was play legatos once on the way there. and played accent tap on the field. it was freezing my hands were like dead.
but i put on the best show of my life.
So winter line starts soon. yay
cant wait.

wow.. I didnt even know him, but seeing all his friends talking about him, and being emotional, jsut made me feel like crying. This whole weekend has just been reminding me how close death is to everyone of us. This whole week actually.

oh wow. today was cool, went ice skating with Kt Duque and my hubs Joey, Joey is a good and responsible driver. Hes gave me my first ride as a 16 year old =)
Duque skated for the first time today, and could even go backwards
wtf.
He taught me how.
....Tony jsut called me.
Apparently A car going to Kiwanis with 4 members of PDX crashed and one of them died, one critical and one is like emotional. the other one idk. SO the competition for tomorow is canceled.
Wow im just glad Nick didnt get hurt, He was in another car, a bus i think.
When Tony told me a kiwanis car had crashed, i thought the worst..
The first thing i thought was Nick, cuz the sound of Tony's voice
Damn.
